We recently assisted a client in commissioning a LOMA metal detector that was over 10 years old and finally achieved a detection limit of 350 whilst at the same time achieving an acceptably very low product false detection rate. As the actual product signal was already very low, we actually only reduced the product signal average by 64, but the final difference was significant. In order to compare the difference between before and after, we took 3500 sets of data for comparison.

After the adjustment, you can clearly see that not only is the average value down by 26%, but the product has a narrower and more focused signal value.
